Fine and rare chippendale transitional carved mahogany gentleman's dressing chest, with bowed front and thumb molded top above one long drawer and two cabinet doors, fitted with three original linen drawers, set on bold ogee
bracket feet. Fine original condition, replaced hardware. Salem, Mass., circa 1780-85. 41 1/4" wide top, 38 3/4" wide case; 36" high, 24" deep.
